Here are the directions for those who want to find us. It's only a guide and if you need any help with transport or directions then please give us a call in the church office: 01229 586136. We'll be happy to help.
BY CAR: Leave the M6 North or South at Junction 36 and follow the A591 west, toward Kendal. After 3 miles take the first exit onto the A590 then follow signs to Barrow-in-Furness and Ulverston. On entering Ulverston, proceed over the first roundabout (with Booths supermarket on it) and on to the second roundabout with Myerscoughs Ford garage to your left. Follow signs for the Town Centre off this roundabout (3rd exit) which takes you on to the one-way system (Brewery Street and Fountain Street) and proceed to a mini roundabout. Take a left off this roundabout (following the one-way system) and take the immediate right into Mill Street towards The Gill. Emmanuel Christian Centre is situated on your left. Parking is available in the Gill area, although note that there is a charge for many of the spaces (even on Sunday!).
BY RAIL: Ulverston train station is a 5 minute taxi ride to the Emmanuel Christian Centre or a 10 minute walk. Turn left from Station Approach and head straight towards Town Centre, crossing the A590, passing the Town hall on your right and continuing along Queen Street and King Street until reaching the Kings Arms pub at the Mill Street / King Street junction. We are located on Mill Street. (Trains to Ulverston operate from Lancaster or Preston where national rail connections can be made.)
BY BUS: Although they are infrequent, National Express does runs a coach service to Kendal from London Victoria and various stops in between. From Kendal take the X35 stagecoach service to Ulverston (please note the X35 service does not operate Sundays). There are further options from Preston Coach Station but please call the relevant operator. Call National Express on 0871-781-8178 and Stagecoach on 0871-200-2233.
